Job summary

HireGiant is seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver to operate from Burton Latimer on a 4 on 4 off basis. You will deliver to depots, drive a curtain side trailer safely, complete paperwork and PODs, and maintain high customer service standards.

Flexible start times between 14:00 and 22:00, PAYE pay rate £18.50–£19.00 per hour, with weekly pay and ongoing work with a reputable company.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• New LGV1 drivers welcome – training and support provided.
• HGV LTD drivers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries to Depots.
• Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer safely.
• No handball; this is a haulage role.
• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately.
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Class 1 Driver

The Role:

HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver to work with our client based in Burton Latimer on a 4 on 4 off basis.

Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:

• Completing deliveries to Depo's




• Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor




• no handball, this is a nice haulage role




• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately




• Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements for the Class 1 driver:

• Valid HGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence




• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card




• New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome – training and support provided




• HGV LTD drivers welcome

Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:

Flexible working hours - you can choose your start time between the following 14.00pm - 22.00pm!

• PAYE Pay rate: £18.50 - £19.00 per hour
