Job summary

HireGiant Ltd in Coventry is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for ongoing work with a leading UK distributor. You will handle trailer drops and swaps to ports across the UK, maintain accurate paperwork and PODs, and perform daily vehicle checks to ensure loads are transported safely and efficiently.

Start times range from 18:00 to 21:00, with shifts lasting 10–14 hours from Monday to Friday. Pay is £20.00–£21.00 per hour (PAYE), with weekly pay every Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Fridge trailer experience – essential.
• 2 years' experience and no more than 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, or IN).
• Safety boots and high-vis required.

Class 1 Driver

The Role:

As a Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for:

Hours & Pay:

• Start times: Between 18:00pm and 21:00pm

• Pay rate: £20.00 - £21.00 per hour (PAYE)

• Weekly pay, every Friday

Requirements:
