Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for regular day work in the UK. The role involves daytime deliveries with 1–5 drops daily, some manual handling, and 06:00 starts. Visa sponsorship is not available. This is a full-time posting with Monday–Friday shifts and consistent weekday hours.

You will be responsible for safe, efficient deliveries, vehicle checks, and punctual arrival at customer sites. Pay is £21.00 per hour with ongoing work and regular day runs.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Comfortable carrying out manual handling and handball duties.
• Reliable and professional approach.
• Good attention to detail when handling and delivering products.
• Good timekeeping and safe driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver manufactured products safely and efficiently to customers.

HGV Class 1 Drivers – Day Runs

Class 1 Drivers wanted for regular day work! We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an established manufacturing and distribution operation, delivering finished products to customers.

This is a straightforward day-driving position offering a £21.00 per hour rate, with manageable delivery volumes and some manual handling involved.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for delivering manufactured products safely and efficiently to customers, completing between 1 and 5 drops per day.

The role involves some handball and manual handling, including assisting with the loading and unloading of goods where required. You’ll need to take care when handling products and ensure deliveries are completed safely and professionally.

You’ll also be responsible for carrying out the usual vehicle checks and ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
