Job summary

Anglia Ruskin University seeks a proactive Community Engagement Officer to drive the Hidden Histories Unearthed project in Lincoln. You will work with local communities, volunteers and heritage partners to deliver engaging activities that connect people with local archaeology and environmental heritage.

You will coordinate events, volunteering opportunities and outreach, while developing partnerships and ensuring robust monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two A Levels; NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with community groups, volunteers or members of the public.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver community events and outreach activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, groups and partner organisations.
• Monitor participation, support evaluation and reporting for the project.
• Contribute to building sustainable community networks beyond the funding period.
