We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Helpdesk Administrator to join our Facilities Management team based at the Prendergast Ladywell school in Lewisham. This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day from 08:00 to 17:00 / 09:00 to 18:00, with alternating weekly shift times.

The role:

  • Based at Prendergast Ladywell School in Catford, SE4.
  • Receive calls, log onto the FM Support System (Maximo), pass jobs to operational staff, and report back to the customer.
  • Support the planned maintenance programme by scheduling jobs to PDAs and updating systems.
  • Advise sub-contractors regarding invoicing requirements, check validity of advice notes and invoices, and handle invoice queries efficiently.
  • Assist with correspondence, reports, tenders, presentations, etc.
  • Organise meetings for the Facilities Management team and take minutes.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, dealing with operational procedures and inquiries.

The person:

  • First-class customer service skills, ideally with experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in Hard and Soft Facilities Management and familiarity with Maximo CAFM system is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to interact confidently with people at all levels.
  • Teamwork skills and a well-organised, proactive attitude.
  • Applicants will be subject to a criminal records check (DBS) due to working alongside children.
