About the Company

A London-based boutique investment firm with a strong track record in the credit strategy space. The short-term objective is to build on this momentum and expand its capacity across various strategies. This is a pivotal moment to join the firm as it prepares for a significant new fund launch and the continued growth of an existing fund. The firm offers a dynamic, fast-moving environment with substantial personal and professional growth opportunities. High-level client engagement is expected, including regular travel across Europe and the US, ensuring strong physical interactions and fostering meaningful, long-term relationships.

Role Overview

The firm is looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial leader to spearhead sales and client acquisition efforts, aiming to significantly increase the firm's AUM. This role involves direct reporting to the senior leadership team, including the Founder/CIO, CFO, and COO. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and maintaining client relationships, closing deals, and positioning the firm as a top player in credit strategies. The role demands frequent client interactions and extensive travel, mainly across Europe and the US, with an expectation of in-office presence when not traveling to support the firm's collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive AUM growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
  • Expand the firm's market presence in Europe and the US.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to showcase the firm's offerings.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with the Investor Relations team to ensure seamless client communication and service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  • Market Analysis:
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform sales strategies.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales activities.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and progress towards targets.
