Job summary

GTG Training - Renault Trucks is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to become a Technical Trainer, moving from the workshop into a rewarding training role, developing the next generation of technicians.

You will deliver practical and classroom-based training to apprentices and commercial delegates at GTG's training centre, assess learner progress and maintain training records, with full training and support provided to gain a teaching qualification.

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required – full training provided to gain teaching qualification.
• Strong heavy vehicle maintenance experience is essential.
• Electrical diagnostics and modern vehicle technology knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Training apprentices and delegates towards industry qualifications at GTG's training centre.
• Deliver practical and classroom-based training.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 and bonus opportunities

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm, no weekend work required

GTG Training is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to become a Technical Trainer. This is an excellent opportunity to move from the workshop into a rewarding training role, helping develop the next generation of technicians.

What You'll Be Doing

• Training apprentices and commercial delegates towards industry-recognised qualifications at GTG's training centre.

What We're Looking For From You

• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
• Strong heavy vehicle maintenance experience
• Electrical diagnostics and modern vehicle technology knowledge
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm
• Full UK driving licence
