Job summary

AE Partners in Gateshead, England, seeks a dynamic Press Operator/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. You will operate press and punch machinery and fabricate metal components with precision to meet strict quality standards on a fast-paced line.

This hands-on role covers fabrication, welding, grinding and assembly, requiring good manual dexterity and safety awareness. Note: Friday/Saturday/Sunday shifts available, with days or nights depending on production needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabrication, welding, grinding, or related manufacturing roles.
• Mechanical knowledge of sheet metal processes and hand tools used in fabrication.
• Ability to operate press and punch machines safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with tooling, assembly techniques, and basic math for measurements.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to metalworking equipment.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
