Role summary:

The Residential Installer Sales Manager’s role is to sell our range of residential heating and ventilation products to new and existing heating installers. As the market expands, this role is crucial in enabling Mitsubishi Electric to continue offering industry-leading products and services in the Southeast Region. The role involves supporting the customer journey from specifying, installing, and commissioning our Ecodan & Lossnay products, to living with them, driving sales through installer projects, specified projects, and switching competitor specifications.

Skills/Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Achieve your sales targets
  • Make at least 10 effective sales calls per week
  • Develop and grow the customer base of heating installers, purchasing directly or through merchant partners
  • Identify, develop, and manage small architects to specify our products in their projects (typically 5-10 properties)
  • Collaborate with specification sales colleagues to secure and deliver specified projects
  • Ensure all active trading customers are trained and aim to sign them up as accredited installers
  • Manage customer activities effectively in the CRM platform
  • Provide updates in weekly team meetings and 1:1s
  • Work with the credit team to ensure timely customer payments
