Effective Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Qualified Heating Engineer to join a growing renewable energy company across the UK. You will install air source and ground source heat pumps, biomass systems, and other renewable technologies on domestic and commercial projects.

Travel nationwide with lodging away when required and deliver high‑standard installations. Training in renewables is available, and a clear path for long-term career development is offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing & Heating is required.
• NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating would be advantageous.
• Strong practical plumbing and heating knowledge is essential.
• Willingness to travel and stay away when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Renewable or heat pump experience is desirable but not essential.

We are recruiting for a Qualified Heating Engineer to join a growing renewable energy company specialising in the design and installation of sustainable heating systems across the UK.

As a Qualified Heating Engineer, you will work on a range of domestic and commercial renewable heating projects, including air source and ground source heat pumps. Full renewable training can be provided for an experienced heating engineer looking to move into the sector.

The role

The successful Qualified Heating Engineer will need

• Previous heating engineering experience
• Strong practical plumbing and heating knowledge
• Willingness to travel and stay away when required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• NVQ Level 3 Plumbing & Heating would be advantageous
• Previous renewable or heat pump experience is desirable but not essential
• A willingness to develop within renewables as a Qualified Heating Engineer
