Valoris Group is recruiting an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Engineer on behalf of a growing renewable heating specialist near the Surrey and Hampshire border. You will join a team delivering domestic projects with a focus on quality, system performance and customer care.

The role involves installing, commissioning and supporting air source heat pump systems across Surrey, Hampshire and surrounding areas, working in occupied homes with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Valoris Group is recruiting an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Engineer on behalf of a growing renewable heating specialist based near the Surrey and Hampshire border.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled heating engineer looking to build a long-term career in renewable energy. You will join a business with a strong pipeline of domestic projects and a genuine focus on installation quality, system performance and customer care.

The role offers a salary of up to £48,000, a fully equipped company van and ongoing technical development within one of the fastest-growing areas of the heating industry.

The Role

You will install, commission and support air source heat pump systems across domestic properties in Surrey, Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

Working as part of an experienced installation team, you will deliver high-quality renewable heating projects from initial installation through to testing and customer handover.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Installing air source heat pumps, unvented cylinders and associated pipework
• Decommissioning existing boilers and completing heating-system alterations
• Upgrading pipework, emitters and other system components where required
• Supporting commissioning, testing, fault-finding and customer handovers
• Completing installations in accordance with building regulations, manufacturer guidance and MCS requirements
• Liaising professionally with customers, surveyors and office-based teams

You will often work in occupied homes, so care, attention to detail and respect for the customer's property are essential.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience installing air source heat pump systems
• A strong plumbing and heating background
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating, or an equivalent qualification
• Current G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Good customer-service skills and pride in the quality of your work

Knowledge of MCS standards would be beneficial. Additional qualifications such as WRAS, F-Gas or relevant electrical certificates would also be advantageous but are not essential.

You should be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with the ability to solve problems and maintain consistently high installation standards.
