Qualifications

• Fluent spoken and written English required.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Physical fitness for lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading baggage from aircraft, ensuring correct placement and security.
• Transport baggage and cargo between terminal buildings and aircraft.
• Load and unload aircraft within turnaround times.
• Sort baggage and scan baggage tags for flights.
• Load containers and trailers and deliver/collect mail and freight from airside locations.
• Coordinate with flight crews and ground staff to facilitate efficient aircraft turnaround.
• Manage baggage documentation and tracking to minimise loss or misplacement.
• Conduct safety inspections of baggage carts, trolleys, and ground support equipment.
• Support aircraft marshalling and guide aircraft on the tarmac when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within baggage handling areas.
• Respond promptly to operational issues or emergencies per safety procedures.
