Job summary

PrimeFlight UK is seeking a dedicated Ground Handling and Operations team member to ensure smooth passenger baggage processing and aircraft turnaround. You will support high performance standards and work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver reliable service.

The role requires a valid UK DBS check, a clean 5-year history, and flexibility for early starts, late finishes, nights, and overtime. Driving licence and ramp experience are desirable assets for this position.

Qualifications

• Must provide a 5-year work history with no gaps.
• Be a UK resident for the last 5 years.
• Ability to acquire a clear DBS certificate.
• Wlexible hours including early starts, late finishes, and night shifts; overtime as required.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to read/write instructions.
• Proactive approach to all work and team collaboration.
• Driving licence is essential.
• Ramp experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete processes in line with CAA and DfT regulations and airline procedures.
• Sort outbound passenger baggage accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in all Aircraft Turnaround processes as directed by Team Leader.
• Operate Ground Service Equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance in the operations environment (FOD removal, equipment checks).
• Assist with baggage loading/unloading issues and report to Team Leader.
• Work cohesively within the team to improve safety, efficiency, and service quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure high standards of service for customers.
