DHL Aviation at London Heathrow Airport is seeking an Operations Ramp Agent to coordinate safe, efficient handling of aircraft and freight. You’ll work with handlers, shippers, and flight crews to ensure timely operational requirements are met.

The role requires lifting up to 25kg, driving licence, and strong teamwork. The position offers a competitive package with benefits and a 20-hour weekly pattern.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure in a time‑critical environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong team orientation and relationship-building.
• Good level of Maths and English.
• IT skills including MS Office and Outlook.
• Knowledge of DHL systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Check that the correct ULDs are loaded.
• Push and pull large containers.
• Lift boxes up to 25kg.
• Crawl in confined spaces to load aircraft belly holds.
• Work at height when loading the upper deck.
• Support other teams across the operation.
• Carry out daily equipment checks.
• Follow Global Aviation Procedures and Standards.
• Report faults promptly to support repairs.
