Job summary

Mitie is hiring a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer at Heathrow Airport. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical and electrical systems and delivering high-quality service in line with SLA and maintenance schedules.

You will work on plumbing, ventilation units, heating/cooling systems, and water assets, while supporting planning and reporting duties. On-call and safety compliance are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Maintenance/Facilities Management.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe systems of work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to use mobile devices effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plumbing, AHUs, ventilation, heating and cooling systems.
• Respond to client queries and report defects with accurate logs.
• Complete inspection reports and remedial logs on time.
• Support supervisor with maintenance planning for critical assets.
• Perform tasks including working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Participate in On-Call Rota and follow safety procedures.
