Job summary

Installio Ltd. seeks an experienced Heat pump surveyor and designer to lead on-site surveys for residential heat pump and solar installations.

You will perform heat loss calculations, size systems, and support field teams with technical guidance to ensure efficient, compliant installations. The role requires hands-on heating engineering experience, strong customer communication, and willingness to travel to up to two surveys per day across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience with heat pump systems and their design.
• Strong knowledge of building fabric, heat loss and hydronic systems.
• Excellent communication with customers and installation teams.
• Familiarity with MCS standards and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site surveys and heat loss calculations.
• Design and size heat pump installations for residential homes.
• Provide technical guidance to installers and project managers.
• Troubleshoot designs using real-world feedback from installs.
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
