Job summary

Installio is seeking a Heat Pump Surveyor and Designer to lead on-site surveys and the sizing of residential heat pump and solar setups.

You will work across the UK, guiding installation teams, refining designs with real-world feedback, and ensuring compliance with MCS standards while prioritising energy efficiency and customer service.

This role suits an experienced heating engineer with a clean UK driving licence and the desire to move off the tools in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in heat pump systems.
• Strong understanding of building fabric, heat loss and hydronic systems.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to surveys.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site surveys for heat pump suitability.
• Perform heat loss calculations and system sizing.
• Provide guidance to installation teams and managers.
• Refine designs using feedback from installs.
