Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Heat Networks Project Manager in Manchester to lead design management across the delivery lifecycle.

The role interfaces with the BAU capital projects team and environmental stakeholders, ensuring deliverables are confident and measurable. The ideal candidate will have proven heat networks experience, strong project management skills, and a track record of coordinating internal teams with external contractors in a BAU capital projects setting.

• Support design/delivery planning and day-to-day project control activities to keep momentum over the full scope.
• Work closely with stakeholders to maintain accurate project understanding from design through implementation.

Contract Duration: 12 months

Our Client is hiring a Project Manager to lead heat network design management as part of their BAU capital projects team. This is a hands-on role interfacing with environmental stakeholders and contractors-ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex design work into confident, deliverable outcomes.

What you'll be doing:

• Own and manage heat network designs through the delivery lifecycle, ensuring clarity, progress and alignment
• Act as the main point of contact between the BAU capital projects team and the environmental team
• Coordinate and manage contractor delivery, keeping workstreams on track and outcomes measurable
• Support design/delivery planning and day-to-day project control activities to keep momentum over the full scope
• Work closely with stakeholders to maintain accurate project understanding from design through implementation

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience managing heat networks (ideally with exposure during the design stage)
• Strong project management capability, with confidence working across design, delivery and stakeholder communication
• Experience interfacing effectively with both internal teams and external contractors
• Ability to manage priorities and maintain control of moving parts in a BAU capital projects environment
