Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a Heat Networks Project Manager in Manchester on a 12‑month contract. Hybrid pattern: three days on site per week. Pay rate £500 per day (Inside IR35 via umbrella).

You will lead heat network design management within the BAU capital projects team, engaging with environmental stakeholders and contractors to drive clear, deliverable outcomes. You'll own and manage designs through the delivery lifecycle, act as the main point of contact between the BAU capital projects team

Qualifications

• Experience in heat networks design and delivery.
• Strong project management capability across design, delivery and stakeholder communication.
• Experience interfacing with internal teams and external contractors.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage heat network designs through the delivery lifecycle, ensuring clarity, progress and alignment.
• Act as the main point of contact between the BAU capital projects team and the environmental team.
• Coordinate and manage contractor delivery, keeping workstreams on track and outcomes measurable.
• Support design/delivery planning and day-to-day project control activities to keep momentum over the full scope.
• Work closely with stakeholders to maintain accurate project understanding from design through implementation.
