Qualifications

• Experience planning menus within budget.

• Experience cooking for similar numbers and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Monitor expenditure to ensure cost effectiveness within the budget.
• Plan menus and arrange food purchasing.
• Present food attractively and ensure proper portioning.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and kitchen cleanliness.
• Secure kitchen, dining and storage areas; maintain stock records.
• Research service user views on menus and address complaints.
• Establish cleaning schedules and follow approved catering procedures.
• Check deliveries for quality/quantity; take action on issues.
