Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Technical Manager to lead technical compliance, engineering assurance, and lifecycle asset management across a NHS healthcare estate in England.

The role covers electrical, mechanical, water hygiene, ventilation, medical gases, fire safety, building fabric and energy systems. The postholder will provide expert leadership, ensure statutory inspections, maintain governance, support CQC inspections, and manage multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and lifecycle

Qualificações

• Significant experience managing technical compliance in healthcare.
• Experience in a healthcare PFI/PPP environment.
• Strong knowledge of NHS HTMs and healthcare standards.
• Experience managing statutory compliance programmes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience managing subcontractors and service providers.
• Lifecycle and asset management planning.
• Experience supporting CQC inspections and regulatory audits.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical compliance framework across the estate with inspections and certifications.
• Act as Responsible Person for electrical, medical gas, water safety and fire systems.
• Oversee Safe Systems of Work and Permit to Work processes.
• Maintain asset registers, condition surveys and capital replacement plans.
• Support lifecycle planning and budget forecasting.
• Provide technical oversight on capital projects and changes.
• Monitor contractor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead governance and assurance activities for NHS compliance.
