Job summary

NHS Dumfries and Galloway is seeking a Software Systems Designer & Developer to design, develop, implement and support software solutions and system integrations underpinning healthcare delivery in the region.

You will work on a diverse portfolio of clinical and corporate systems, involving development, integration, database administration and project delivery, in collaboration with clinicians and NHS teams.

Qualifications

Experience of software design, development and implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Database administration experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Experience with system integrations, interfaces or healthcare systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement and support software solutions and system integrations.
Support a diverse portfolio of clinical and corporate systems.
Engage with suppliers and manage project delivery.
Assist in digital transformation initiatives for NHS services.
Collaborate with clinicians, managers and national NHS teams.
