Job summary

NHS Dumfries and Galloway is seeking a Software Systems Designer & Developer to design, develop, implement and support software solutions and system integrations underpinning healthcare delivery in the region.

You will work on a diverse portfolio of clinical and corporate systems, involving development, integration, database administration and project delivery, in collaboration with clinicians and NHS teams.

Qualifications

• Database administration experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

NHS Dumfries & Galloway is looking for a Software Systems Designer & Developer to join our Applications & Development Team. This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, implement and support software solutions and system integrations that underpin the delivery of healthcare services across the region.

You’ll work on a diverse portfolio of clinical and corporate systems, supporting everything from patient-facing applications and clinical systems to integration platforms and reporting solutions. The role involves software development, systems integration, database administration, project delivery, supplier engagement, and supporting the ongoing digital transformation of NHS services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to work with a wide range of technologies including:

• Microsoft SQL Server
