Job summary

The NHS in Wales invites applications for a Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to join the Discharge Lounge at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The role supports medically cleared patients as they complete final discharge steps, freeing inpatient beds and improving throughput.

The lounge operates daily from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm and offers recliners, nursing support, and nearby exits for easy collection. Candidates should have strong communication and organisational skills and be able to deliver high

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in health and social care or equivalent.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Welsh language ability desirable.
