Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking two Full Time Nursing Support Workers for the Outpatients team at Glangwili General Hospital in West Wales. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00, within a busy outpatient setting, performing clinical observations and assisting clinicians.

Welsh language ability is desirable, with Welsh and English speakers welcome to apply. Induction and training will be provided; interviews are scheduled for 10/11/2026.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a health care related subject or equivalent experience with competency.
• Knowledge of safeguarding adults/children and GDPR/ confidentiality policies.
• Experience of working in health or social care and NHS experience.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a range of clinical observations/tests within outpatient clinics.
• Act as a chaperone during consultations and assist clinicians with procedures.
• Work as part of the nursing team to ensure smooth provision of clinics.
• Full induction and training will be provided to successful candidates.
