Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Health Care Assistant to join our busy MIU and UTC.

Responsibilities:

1. Work collaboratively with a skilled multidisciplinary team to care for patients with minor injuries or ailments.
2. Manage your own clinical workload under supervision, including wound management, care of burns, patient observations, and assisting with clinical investigations.
3. Perform minor injury care procedures such as plaster of Paris application, splints, and slings.
4. Respond flexibly to the needs of the service and resource management.
5. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to patients of all ages.
6. Support the Registered Clinical Staff in providing personalized care to patients, relatives, and carers.
7. Maintain professional development and adhere to the job description requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Computer literacy is essential; experience with System 1 is advantageous but not mandatory, as full training will be provided.
• Employment requires an Enhanced DBS check; applicants subscribed to the DBS update service can present a valid certificate.
