NHS Shetland is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker (Band 3) for Levenwick Health Centre/Community Nursing. The substantive post is full time (36 hours per week) with a pro rata salary of £29,696–£31,409 plus a Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum (pro rata).
You will join the nursing team delivering care in primary care and community settings, working under Registered Nurses across community services.

Are you an experienced Health Care Support Worker or Social Care Worker, who is enthusiastic about your role and wants to make a difference? If so we want you to join us working as part of the nursing team delivering care to the population of Shetland in a primary care and community setting.
You will work under the direction of the Registered Nurses being based across community nursing to support Practice Nurses in primary care and the community nursing team.
Skills in phlebotomy, ECG and basic observations would be advantageous but training can be provided. Full driving license is essential as is a willingness to work autonomously.
