Job summary

NHS Tayside is recruiting for a Healthcare Support Worker to join Ward 10, General Surgery at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The post is permanent, with 36 hours per week, and falls under Band 3 (£29,103 - £31,409) salary band.

You will provide compassionate patient care and contribute to a team delivering high-quality perioperative support. Experience in a hospital environment is beneficial; training is provided.

• Participate in ongoing learning and complete the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland.

Ward 10 is a 24-bedded general surgical unit caring for patients requiring both surgical and medical interventions.

We are looking for an individual, committed to delivering compassionate care, and prepared to participate in ongoing learning. Experience of working within a hospital environment would be beneficial, however various training is available.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
