Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a Senior Healthcare Support Worker for Ward 1 at Belford Hospital. This part-time role involves 23 hours per week in a 12-bed medical and surgical rehabilitation unit, with Band 3 salary £29,103 - £31,409 per year.

You will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, provide person-centred care, and participate in training. Prior experience is desirable but not essential, as full induction and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring roles is desirable but training will be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team in Ward 1.
• Proactive with a genuine passion for patient care.

We have a Senior Health Care Support Worker vacancy available in Ward 1 which is a 12 bedded unit, covering both medical and surgical rehabilitation. We work closely with allied health professionals to ensure that person centred care is given to the highest standard and the patient remains at the centre of all we do.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, has a genuine passion for caring and enjoys team working, previous experience is desirable but not necessary as we are a welcoming and supportive team and full training will be provided.
