EQUANS is seeking a Mechanical Craftsperson to join our team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent, full-time basis (37.5 hours per week). The role involves maintaining water systems and mechanical services within NHS sites and requires a DBS check.

You should hold NVQ or C&G Level 2 in Heating/Vent/Plumbing, have Legionella/TMV/disinfection awareness, a driving licence, and be prepared to participate in on-call duties and use the company vehicle.

Qualifications

• NVQ or C&G Level 2 Heating/Vent/Plumbing.
• Legionella/TMV/Disinfection awareness and training.
• Water Hygiene Training desirable.
• Driving licence.
• DBS Standard check required.

Responsabilités

• Undertake any reasonable duties directed by management to maintain NHS Trust services and ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Carry out the full range of Mechanical Craftsperson tasks as directed by management.
• Work in compliance with EQUANS KPI’s and contract requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of water/mechanical systems in a healthcare environment and associated testing/maintenance.
• Perform temperature monitoring, shower head cleaning and disinfection, tank inspections, TMV servicing, AHU servicing, etc.
• Drive the company vehicle as required and participate in on-call rota.
