Job summary

Pareto is seeking an Apprentice IT Specialist to build a professional foundation in IT within Healthcare Diagnostics. You will support diagnostic solutions, assist in maintenance, deployments, and end-user support.

The role includes college day release training two days a week, a starting salary of £25k with OTE up to £30k, and clear progression into senior or technical roles within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Strong IT interest and commitment to a career in the field.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's licence or willingness to obtain one within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine IT maintenance, including software updates and security configurations.
• Support deployment of hardware and software, ensuring systems are functional.
• Manage internal IT inventory, tracking hardware, licenses and procurement.
• Collaborate with team to resolve technical requests and communicate with end-users.
• Participate in on-site shadowing for hospital IT solutions.
