Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a Facilities Supervisor for Skye Hospitals to support Portree & Broadford Hospital and local Health Centres. You will supervise all facilities services, ensure cleanliness and infection-control standards, and maintain compliance with national specifications.

The role includes managing a 7-day rota, covering sites across Skye, driving a company vehicle, and training staff. Experience in facilities is preferred; driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising facilities teams and services.
• Knowledge of infection control and national cleaning standards.
• Ability to manage training and daily supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all services provided by the facilities team, including catering and domestic roles.
• Ensure high standards of service and cleanliness in line with policies and regulations.
• Manage policies, procedures, and core staff training; oversee scheduling and rota.
• Cover NHS sites in the local area; drive between sites using a company vehicle.
