Job summary

NHS Highland seeks a Facilities Supervisor to manage the facilities team across Portree & Broadford Hospital and local Health Centres on Skye. You will ensure high standards of service and cleanliness in line with infection control policies, and maintain compliance with NHS Scotland cleaning, food, waste and safety standards.

The role includes supervising catering and domestic services, covering sites as needed, and daily supervision and training of staff.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising facilities teams including catering and domestic services.
• Familiarity with infection control policies and NHS cleaning standards.
• Ability to manage staff rotas and training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all services provided by the facilities team across sites.
• Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness and compliance with policies.
• Cover NHS sites in the local geographical area and manage shift patterns.
