Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to join our team at Dunbar Hospital Thurso. This part-time post covers four days on a two-week rota and will involve supervising catering and domestic services to ensure high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

The successful candidate will manage staff, ensure compliance with policies, hold a driving licence, and be available to cover NHS sites in the local area.

Qualifications

• Ensure high standards of service and cleanliness in line with local infection control policies and Covid-19 guidance.
• Maintain compliance with the NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification and Waste Regulations.
• Be prepared to cover all NHS sites in the local geographical area; driving licence required; fleet vehicle available.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all services provided by the facilities team, including catering and domestic duties.
• Manage policies, procedures, and staff training; daily supervision and management of the team.
• Cover NHS sites as needed and travel as required.
