Job summary

Bupa is seeking an Enterprise Architect for UK Secondary Care to shape technology strategy and drive architecture across care platforms. The role combines business insight with hands-on architectural leadership to align legacy systems with modern cloud-native solutions.

You will collaborate with IT leadership, guide Architecture Community of Practice, and ensure governance and compliance while delivering scalable, secure designs across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experienced Enterprise Architect with leadership of transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and design patterns
• Background in product-centric, agile environments with DevOps experience

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the technology strategy for Bupa's UK Secondary Care services
• Maintain and evolve architecture roadmaps for critical systems
• Support technical due diligence and integration of new services (cloud and API-first)
• Guide and strengthen solution architecture capabilities within the Secondary Care IT team
• Ensure governance, compliance with data, security, risk and legal standards
• Contribute to high-quality, pattern-led solution design and resolve challenges as needed
