Job summary

Bupa is seeking an Enterprise Architect to shape and govern the technology strategy for its UK Secondary Care services. The role blends legacy systems with modern cloud-native approaches and requires collaboration with IT leadership to align roadmaps and standards.

You will guide architecture across care platforms, ensure compliance with data and security standards, and contribute to the Architecture Community of Practice within BGIUK.

Qualifications

• Experienced Enterprise Architect with CxO-level stakeholder engagement.
• Strong understanding of EA frameworks and design patterns.
• Experience in cloud-native, API-first architectures.
• Knowledge of healthcare data regulations (HL7, FHIR, OpenEHR).

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the technology strategy for UK Secondary Care in collaboration with IT leadership.
• Evolve architecture roadmaps for critical systems and enable seamless integration across care platforms.
• Support due diligence and integration of new services with a focus on cloud and API-first solutions.
• Strengthen solution architecture capabilities within the Secondary Care IT team and ensure governance.
