Job summary

The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Information Analyst to join the Data and Informatics team on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027. You will work with senior analysts and stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting and analytics to support decision making and improve patient care across the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret highly complex information and analytical requirements, assess outputs and deliver solutions using information query tools and languages.
• Maintain and develop understanding of data sources within and outside the organisation.
• Analyse data for a wide range of clients, presenting information clearly and within agreed timescales.
• Contribute to review, planning, development and implementation of new information systems.
• Develop and utilise specialist knowledge of statistical and analytical tools, acting as lead in certain tools.
