Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust’s Performance & Informatics department invites applications for a senior BI role. The post holder will lead data analytics and information reporting to support service planning, delivery and transformation across Elective, Cancer and urgent care streams.

You will line manage a team of analysts and develop reporting systems using MS Excel, SQL Server and Power BI/MS Fabric, ensuring NHS returns are accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• Senior BI role within P&I, leading data analytics and reporting.
• Ability to interpret and present insights for decision making.
• Knowledge of NHS information standards.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for Head of Business Intelligence as required.
• Be accountable for trust-wide information to support operational teams.
• Carry out complex analysis to inform service planning and transformation.
• Define reporting requirements and ensure timely NHS submissions.
• Develop and improve information reporting systems using Excel, SQL Server, Power BI/MS Fabric.
• Direct line management of staff and staff development.
• Contribute to ongoing development of the department.
