Job summary

Bupa Place in Salford Quays, Manchester, is hiring a Health Assessments Booking Advisor - Webchat. This full-time, 37.5-hour role operates on a hybrid basis from Bupa Place with shifts Mon-Fri 8am-8pm and a rotating Saturday.

You will handle self-pay and corporate customers, booking Health Assessments, MSK appointments and GP visits via phone or webchat. You will work toward revenue targets, support customer-facing teams, and help deliver excellent patient care in a busy health services

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service or sales environment.
• Strong customer-focused approach with up-selling ability.
• Proficient with Windows and basic IT skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly revenue targets and contribute to annual targets.

• Collaborate with the contracts team to cover corporate customers.

Shifts: Mon - Fri 8am - 8pm Saturdays 8am - 4pm (one in three / four weeks, with a day off during the week if working a Saturday)

£27,210 + Performance based bonus

The role

You’ll help us make health happen by

• Working towards achieving a monthly revenue target and also an overall annual target
• Work on inbound and outbound calls
• Arrange appointments within our Bupa clinics and liaise with the centres on a daily basis
• Communicate with customers either via the telephone, email or webchat
• Work with the eligibility & contracts team to ensure corporate customers are covered
• Offer upgrades and cross sell other products

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

• You will have experience of working in a customer service/sales environment and demonstrating strong customer focused skills and an ability to up sell added products.
• Understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to service excellence.
• You will be PC literate with good knowledge of Windows based packages and have the ability to combine communication and admin skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to deal effectively with internal and external customers of all levels, taking a firm yet diplomatic approach if necessary.
• Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a pressurised environment
• Ability to adapt to a tight, high achieving sales team and to be responsible for both individual and team targets
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Be able to remain positive and calm whilst projecting a ‘can do' attitude within the team/department
