Job summary

Bupa Place in Salford Quays, Manchester is seeking a Health Assessments Booking Advisor to handle self-pay and corporate customers, booking Health Assessments, MSK appointments, GP visits and other primary care products via telephone or webchat.

This permanent full-time role (37.5 hours) is hybrid, with shifts Mon–Fri 8am–8pm and Saturdays 8am–4pm on a rotation. Salary £27,210 plus performance bonus and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales with a focus on up-selling.
• Strong communication skills and service excellence.
• PC literacy with Windows-based packages.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to book Health Assessments and other services.
• Arrange appointments within Bupa clinics and liaise with centres daily.
• Communicate with customers via telephone, email or webchat.
• Collaborate with the contracts team to cover corporate customers.
• Offer product upgrades and cross-sell additional services.

Permanant Full Time (37.5 HOURS)

Bupa Place, Salford Quays, Manchester / Hybrid Hybrid working.

Shifts: Mon - Fri 8am - 8pm Saturdays 8am - 4pm (one in three / four weeks, with a day off during the week if working a Saturday).

£27,210 + Performance based bonus

The role

This is an exciting role working within Health Services. You will be dealing with both new and repeat self pay or corporate customers, selling and assisting them in booking their Health Assessment, MSK appointments, GP visit and many more primary care products. This could be via the telephone or webchat.

You'll help us make health happen by

• Working towards achieving a monthly revenue target and also an overall annual target
• Work on inbound and outbound calls
• Arrange appointments within our Bupa clinics and liaise with the centres on a daily basis
• Communicate with customers either via the telephone, email or webchat
• Work with the eligibility & contracts team to ensure corporate customers are covered
• Offer upgrades and cross sell other products

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

• You will have experience of working in a customer service/sales environment and demonstrating strong customer focused skills and an ability to up sell added products.
• Understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to service excellence.
• You will be PC literate with good knowledge of Windows based packages and have the ability to combine communication and admin skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to deal effectively with internal and external customers of all levels, taking a firm yet diplomatic approach if necessary.
• Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a pressurised environment
• Ability to adapt to a tight, high achieving sales team and to be responsible for both individual and team targets
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Be able to remain positive and calm whilst projecting a 'can do' attitude within the team/department
