Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the architecture and integration of IT systems across acquisitions and new builds at Cromwell Hospital, London. The role requires designing end-to-end, high-availability solutions for web, mobile and cloud platforms with a hybrid work pattern (2 days on site).

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure governance and security standards while driving cost-value trade-offs and risk mitigations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Solution Architecture roles.
• Ability to design end-to-end solutions for high-availability web, mobile, and cloud-based systems.
• Strong understanding of UML and C4 modelling techniques.
• Experience with stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Designing resilient, scalable and secure systems with cloud-native patterns.
• Hands-on experience with web technologies (HTML5, JS, REST, XML, OData).
• Proficiency in Node.js, Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with Azure and Google Cloud, PaaS and workload migration.
• Knowledge of Microservices, API-led design, CI/CD, IaC, and modern architectural practices.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and translate business challenges into technology solutions.
• Healthcare industry knowledge is preferred.
