Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) in the UK is seeking a Solutions Architect to partner with NHS trusts and health bodies to design cloud architectures addressing national-scale clinical and operational challenges. You will be the technical partner for NHS cohorts, shaping cloud solutions that scale for millions of citizens.

You will lead engagements, drive architecture reviews, and collaborate with AWS service teams to shape healthcare capabilities and publish reference architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience in customer-facing or public sector roles.
• Experience in cloud design, distributed systems, or infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with AI/ML in enterprise environments.
• Ability to explain complex tech to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with NHS trusts, national health bodies, and Health Technology organisations to design and deliver cloud architectures that address clinical, operational, and data challenges at scale.
• Lead technical engagements including discovery workshops, architecture reviews, and PoC builds for healthcare workloads spanning AI/ML, analytics, interoperability, and IoT.
• Develop and present technical proposals to senior stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, and programme directors.
• Collaborate with AWS service teams to shape healthcare-relevant capabilities and bring customer feedback into the product roadmap.
• Create and share best practices, technical content, and reference architectures and educate about AWS technology through workshops, meetups, or conferences.
