Job Role: Healthcare Associate – Implementation & Contract Management
Location: Remote / UK (with regular site visits, as required)
Reports to: NHS Digital Transformation Lead (Implementation) or Implementation Deputy, working closely with the Growth team
The Implementation & Contract Management Associate builds our in-house expertise in how the NHS buys, contracts for and assures digital health, and uses it to get services live faster. You'll sit where commercial, compliance and delivery meet, keeping contracts, assurance and implementation plans aligned so nothing slows down a launch. This role suits someone structured and detail-minded with good analytical and project-management instincts.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the contract life cycle for NHS clients, tracking key terms, milestones, KPIs, renewals, variations and invoicing triggers.
- Identify and elevate contractual risks or issues early, and support renewal preparation.
- Maintain accurate contract and licence records and report regularly to leadership.
NHS compliance and procurement
- Build and maintain an internal playbook on NHS procurement routes, including frameworks, direct awards and the Provider Selection Regime where relevant.
- Build a close working relationship with Compliance and Quality teams and develop internal systems that enable compliance readiness
- Coordinate NHS assurance submissions such as DTAC, DSPT, DPIAs and information governance, and support clinical-safety documentation (DCB0129/DCB0160) with Clinical Safety, IG and Legal colleagues.
- Keep a reusable library of compliance evidence, templates and standard responses.
Implementation project management
- Run implementation plans, RAID logs and governance meetings for assigned client launches.
- Coordinate monthly client meetings and keep the CRM up to date on client status.
- Find recurring bottlenecks across launches, then design checklists, templates and process improvements that cut time to launch.
Internal and external coordination
- Contribute to systemising internal processes across Contracting->Offboarding, working closely with internal functions
- Work with Growth, Clinical, Product and Finance so that what we contract matches what we can deliver.
- Build relationships with NHS procurement, contracting and IG contacts, as well as external advisors.
What success looks like
- Shorter time from contract signature to launch.
- Assurance and compliance requirements met on time, without last-minute escalations.
- Clean, accurate contract records and timely renewals.
- An internal procurement and compliance playbook the wider team actually uses.
Required skills and experience
- A working understanding of NHS commissioning, procurement or digital-health assurance, or a strong appetite to learn quickly.
- Strong project-management and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Solid analytical skills: confident with Excel, project-tracking tools and appropriate harnessing of AI tools
- Clear, professional writing and the confidence to work with procurement, legal and IG stakeholders.
Behaviours for success
- Structured and thorough, with clear oversight of many moving parts.
- Anticipatory: sees blockers before they become delays.
- Pragmatic about making complex processes simple.

This is a role designed for rapid development. Within 6-12 months, we expect you to be our go-to internal expert on NHS contracting and assurance, drive implementation processes confidently, support bids and tender responses alongside the Growth team and be ready to take on greater responsibilities as we grow.
