Circle Health Group in Windsor is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join the Theatre team at The Princess Margaret Hospital. This is a full-time, permanent role for 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern.

You will assist in delivering safe care, preparing theatres, supporting patients, and upholding high clinical standards while developing your skills through ongoing training and supervision.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare support role.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake training and development in theatre-specific care.
• Understanding of infection control, safeguarding and health and safety principles.

Responsabilités

• Assist in delivering safe and effective care across the theatre department, supporting patients throughout their surgical pathway.
• Prepare theatres for procedures, including equipment checks, stock preparation, and ensuring the environment is clean and ready.
• Engage with patients in a respectful, dignified, and empathetic manner, helping to alleviate anxiety and ensure comfort.
• Maintain a high standard of personal conduct and clinical care in line with CHG policies and the HCA framework.
• Take responsibility for developing your own clinical and technical skills through training, mentorship, and reflection.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient theatre environment through stock control, timely equipment turnover, and adherence to clinical standards.

We have an opportunity for an Healthcare Assistant to join their team of staff in the Theatre department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Assist in delivering safe and effective care across the theatre department, supporting patients throughout their surgical pathway.
• Prepare theatres for procedures, including equipment checks, stock preparation, and ensuring the environment is clean and ready.
• Engage with patients in a respectful, dignified, and empathetic manner, helping to alleviate anxiety and ensure comfort.
• Maintain a high standard of personal conduct and clinical care in accordance with CHG policies and the HCA framework.
• Take responsibility for developing your own clinical and technical skills through training, mentorship, and reflection.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience working in a clinical or healthcare support role.
