Job summary

The Hampshire Clinic, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join the Theatre team on a full-time basis. 37.5 hours per week, permanent position with a flexible shift pattern. Salary: £24,947.00 per year.

Working in a busy theatre setting, you will support patients throughout their surgical pathway and help prepare theatres, maintain safety standards, and deliver compassionate care. Training and development are encouraged to enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare support role.
• Good verbal and written communication with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
• Willingness to undertake theatre-specific training and competency development.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering safe and effective care across the theatre department, supporting patients throughout their surgical pathway.
• Prepare theatres for procedures, including equipment checks, stock preparation, and ensuring the environment is clean and ready.
• Engage with patients in a respectful, dignified, and empathetic manner, helping to alleviate anxiety and ensure comfort.
• Maintain a high standard of personal conduct and clinical care in accordance with CHG policies and the HCA framework.
• Take responsibility for developing your own clinical and technical skills through training, mentorship, and reflection.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient theatre environment through stock control, timely equipment turnover, and adherence to clinical standards.

We have an opportunity for an Healthcare Assistant to join their team of staff in theTheatre department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
