Job summary

The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join the Theatre team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering 37.5 hours per week and a clear pathway for development within a private healthcare network.

You will support surgical patients through their theatre pathway, prepare theatres, maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety, and work with a compassionate, patient-centred approach. Salary £24,947 per year.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a clinical or healthcare support role.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.
• Willingness to undertake training and competency development in theatre-specific care.
• Understanding of infection control, safeguarding, and basic health and safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering safe and effective care across the theatre department, supporting patients throughout their surgical pathway.
• Prepare theatres for procedures, including equipment checks, stock preparation, and ensuring the environment is clean and ready.
• Engage with patients in a respectful, dignified, and empathetic manner, helping to alleviate anxiety and ensure comfort.
• Maintain a high standard of personal conduct and clinical care in accordance with CHG policies and the HCA framework.
• Take responsibility for developing your own clinical and technical skills through training, mentorship, and reflection.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient theatre environment through stock control, timely equipment turnover, and adherence to clinical standards.

We have an opportunity for an Healthcare Assistant to join their team of staff in theTheatre department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Assist in delivering safe and effective care across the theatre department, supporting patients throughout their surgical pathway.
