Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home in Southampton is seeking a Healthcare Assistant Support Worker to join our community‑based team. You will support a client in their own home with daily tasks and personal care, including sleep‑in shifts, while promoting independence and dignity.

The role involves administering medications and managing clinical interventions, with full training provided. A driver is required to service visits using a large van.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Driver required to transport clients in a large van.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs.
• Flexible with evenings, weekends and holidays.

Shifts: 24 hour shifts - 08:00 - 00:00 & 00:00 - 08:00 (sleep in). Must be able to work 2 shifts in a row

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting with their daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with our client, their families, and other professionals to deliver person-centred care and support.

In this role you will be supporting our male client who lives within his own home. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing the clients clinical interventions (all training will be provided). In this home, our client does have pets within the home including a dog.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to service users.
• Administer medications, and complete manual handling.
• Working with clinical interventions
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care where required.
