Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home in Benfleet is seeking a Female Healthcare Assistant Support Worker to provide high-quality in-home care for a 16-year-old client with complex needs. You will perform personal care, assist with moving and handling, and support clinical interventions, including medication administration, during 12 hour night shifts.

The role requires 6 months of care experience (UK based), comfort with 1:1 care, and a willingness to learn complex care skills through training while delivering

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience with personal care, medication administration and manual handling.
• Comfortable working in a 1:1 client setting.
• Willing to learn new skills and undertake complex care training.
• Ability to deliver high-quality care with compassion and professionalism.

Our healthcare assistants/support workers deliver highly bespoke care shaped around the individual needs, goals and aspirations.

As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.

About the role

In this role, you will be supporting our 16-year-old female client within her family home, who is living with several complex care needs including epilepsy and global developmental delay. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients’ clinical interventions (all training will be provided).

Role Requirements
