Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home provides clinically outstanding, personalised homecare to children and adults across England. Basildon-based Female Healthcare Assistant Support Worker role involves delivering high-quality, person-centered care during 12-hour night shifts in clients' homes.

You will support a 16-year-old client with complex needs, including epilepsy and developmental delay, delivering personal care, medications, and clinical interventions with training provided and ongoing development

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience with personal care, medication and manual handling.
• Comfortable working in a 1:1 setting and willing to learn new skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality care with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, assist with moving and handling, and support clinical interventions in the client's home.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor for changes in condition.
• Enrich quality of life through community interaction and helping clients achieve their goals.

We support people living with a wide range of complex conditions, helping them stay safe, independent and connected to their communities. Our healthcare assistants/support workers deliver highly bespoke care shaped around the individual needs, goals and aspirations.

As a healthcare assistant/support worker, you will be providing high quality, person-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own home. On shift, you will be expected to provide personal care, assist with moving and handling and support with any clinical interventions specific to our client. Alongside, you will be expected to enrich their quality of life via community interaction and support in achieving their goals/aspirations.

About the role

In this role, you will be supporting our 16-year-old female client within her family home, who is living with several complex care needs including epilepsy and global developmental delay. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients’ clinical interventions (all training will be provided).

Role Requirements

• 6 months care experience within the 2 years (UK based)
