Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home is seeking compassionate Support Workers for male client in his own home in St Helens. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and support with medications and clinical interventions. Drivers with a manual license are needed to drive the client’s van in the community.

Flexible hours include days/evenings and weekends. DBS checks and references are standard; sponsorship is not provided. Training will be provided to all successful applicants.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting with their daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with our client, their families, and other professionals to deliver person-centered care and support.

In this role you will be supporting our male client within his own home, who is living with Locked in Syndrome. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients clinical interventions (all training will be provided). To support our clients hobbies and social interactions, we are looking for team members to be a driver and be happy to drive our clients van in the community.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

• Caring, empathetic, and patient nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based experience)
• Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs including brain injuries, spinal injuries, physical disabilities, genetic and neurological conditions.
• Drivers required - Manual licence
